THE THING ABOUT 10 THINGS I KNOW FOR SURE…..

Some of my 10 things I knew for sure a decade ago are still holding up. I like the consistency of that.

The truth is, at 55 years old I would be deeply uncomfortable stating anything for sure.

I think we have the right to change our minds. I think we have a duty to change our minds. I think that’s called growth.

I am very aware of the hype of social media; and even more conscious of the need to be seen as experts; or at the very least, very, very certain of something. So certain that our knowledge can be condensed into

5 ways to…

10 books to read in your 30’s…

3 habits of millionaires

It’s never that simple.

And why on earth would you be doing what everyone else is doing?

If it’s on a list, you’re a follower, and it’s not your secret sauce.

I’m not sure about being sure that God exists; but I am certain that there is a creative force in the universe and in us that is miraculous and wondrous and that amplifies good and connection.

The weirdest thing about growing older is discovering this secret: we’re all just winging it.

There is no portal of clarity and permission.

The secret of ageing is the wisdom that whatever happens, you’ll figure it out.

Sometimes you’ll figure it out well, sometimes your solution will not be the best one.

So then you find a different solution.

That’s the key: it’s not about being right. It’s about knowing when you could be doing it better. And doing that.

We’re allowed to change.

We’re supposed to.

Everything will be ok in the wne.

If it’s not ok.

It’s not the end.

That, I know for sure.
